Arrow Electronics has announced the achievement of the Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop specialization, a certification that recognizes the technical capability and expertise of Microsoft partners to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and optimized virtual desktop infrastructures on the Azure platform.
With this new recognition, the company expands its credentials within the Microsoft ecosystem, complementing its specialization in Infrastructure and Database Migration to Microsoft Azure, obtained in 2025. Both certifications reinforce Arrow’s positioning as a cloud solutions provider aimed at driving digital transformation for its channel partners.
The Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop specialization is only awarded to partners who meet rigorous requirements in technical training, customer satisfaction, and service quality. Additionally, companies must pass an independent audit that validates their knowledge and best practices in deploying this technology.
Thanks to this recognition, Arrow will continue supporting its network of partners in modernizing their clients’ work environments through virtual desktop solutions that stand out for their security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Sophie Daval, Global Director of Public Cloud for Arrow’s Enterprise Computing Solutions division, highlighted that this certification is “a significant milestone” for the company and reaffirms its commitment to helping the channel deliver solutions that enhance both productivity and security. She also emphasized the role of ArrowSphere, Arrow’s digital platform, as a tool to simplify cloud environment management and enable deployment of services from multiple vendors through a single platform.
In a context where hybrid and remote work continue to gain prominence, Azure Virtual Desktop has established itself as a solution that allows flexible, secure deployment of virtual desktops fully integrated with the Microsoft ecosystem. This technology helps organizations adapt their infrastructures to new mobility needs while optimizing resource management and licensing costs.
Meanwhile, Andrew Smith, General Manager of Microsoft Partner Program Management, stated that this specialization identifies partners with the highest readiness to deploy Azure Virtual Desktop. He explained that Arrow has demonstrated the necessary capabilities to support organizations in transitioning to desktop-as-a-service (DaaS) models, offering scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
With this new accreditation, Arrow broadens its range of services for its technology partners. Through ArrowSphere, companies can manage all their cloud activities from a single platform—designing, provisioning, and monitoring multi-cloud services through automated processes that streamline deployment of solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
