Arrow ECS has been recognized by Veeam with the EMEA Aggregator of the Year 2026 award, an acknowledgment that highlights its contribution to the growth of the channel ecosystem and the expansion of the company’s data resiliency solutions across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
The award presentation took place during the Annual Veeam Partner Advisory Council in Portugal, an event that brought together the region’s top strategic channel leaders to discuss market trends, evolving customer needs, and the company’s future strategy. Veeam particularly emphasized Arrow’s role in channel development, partner training, and marketing initiatives that have driven the firm’s presence throughout the region.
This regional recognition is also complemented by a recent success in the Spanish market. Arrow ECS was named Top Distributor of the Year in Spain during the VeeamON Tour event held in Madrid, further establishing its position as one of the leading drivers of Veeam’s partner ecosystem both locally and internationally.
The award comes at a particularly significant moment for the partnership between the two companies. Recently, Arrow and Veeam expanded their distribution agreement in EMEA, incorporating Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, and Switzerland into an already established collaboration in other markets. This expansion enables more organizations to access Veeam’s data resiliency solutions portfolio and local support, facilitating the strengthening of their backup, recovery, cybersecurity resilience, and data protection strategies in hybrid cloud environments.
Nick Bannister, President of Arrow’s Enterprise Computing Solutions division for EMEA, highlighted that the award reflects the evolving role of the company within the channel. “This award signifies more than just the strength of our partnership with Veeam. It recognizes the evolution of our role in the channel ecosystem. As an aggregator, Arrow builds and scales cloud ecosystems across the EMEA region, empowering channel partners and helping to drive consistent, repeatable growth,” he stated.
Bannister added that the combination of platform capabilities, specialized training, and regional reach allows Arrow to assist its partners in accelerating the adoption of data resiliency solutions and cloud technologies in an increasingly complex and demanding environment.
Meanwhile, Kinda Baydoun, Senior Channel and Alliance Director at Veeam, underscored the significance of Arrow’s work in partner training and ecosystem development. “Arrow continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to channel partner education, ecosystem growth, and customer success across the EMEA region,” she affirmed.
Baydoun also emphasized that, in a landscape driven by accelerated cloud adoption and artificial intelligence, data protection, governance, and recovery have become critical capabilities for organizations. In this context, partners play a key role in helping clients build reliable data environments, comply with regulatory requirements, and turn information into a competitive advantage.
Veeam’s annual awards recognize organizations that demonstrate outstanding performance, innovation, and positive impact on customers. For 2026, the company focused on the strategic role of the channel in strengthening business resilience, improving incident preparedness, and laying the technological foundations to face future challenges.
