IONOS Launches New Dedicated Servers with Intel Xeon 6 for High-Demand Workloads

IONOS has expanded its technology infrastructure offerings with the launch of four new dedicated servers based on Intel Xeon 6 (Granite Rapids) processors, a solution aimed at businesses, developers, and public organizations that require significant processing power for critical applications and high-demand environments.

The new systems, available in configurations of 16, 24, 32, and 48 cores, are designed to meet the needs of intensive workloads such as enterprise database management, large-scale virtualization platforms, or scientific research and analysis projects.

The integration of Intel’s Granite Rapids architecture marks a major advancement in performance and efficiency. This new generation of processors enhances data processing capabilities and optimizes virtualized environments, reducing bottlenecks commonly found in resource-intensive applications.

In addition to increased power, the new servers offer enhanced security and regulatory compliance guarantees. Data hosting occurs within IONOS’s European data centers, ensuring adherence to GDPR and other EU data protection regulations.

The new Granite Rapids dedicated server lineup is available in four different configurations, tailored to various usage profiles and business needs, with the goal of providing a scalable infrastructure prepared to meet current and future technological challenges.

• The 16-core IP4-10 model is ideal for tasks that require maximum single-core performance, thanks to its high clock speed of up to 4.2 GHz.
• The 24 and 32-core models (IP4-20 and IP4-30) offer a perfect balance between high core counts and elevated clock speeds, making them ideal for virtualization environments or demanding databases.
• For mass parallel processing and highly scalable applications, the 48-core model (IP4-40) is recommended.

All models benefit from the modern DDR5 memory bandwidth and PCIe Gen5 features. The servers are immediately available at all of IONOS’s data centers worldwide and are specifically targeted toward sectors such as Industry 4.0, financial services, and scientific research institutions.
