Madrid Network played a prominent role at the Dell Technologies Forum, Spain’s leading technology event, by moderating a strategic roundtable aimed at executives and IT managers of medium-sized companies. The discussion focused on the major challenges of digital transformation, with particular emphasis on infrastructure, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
The event, held as part of the Dell Technologies Forum, reinforced its position as an essential space for analysis, experience sharing, and strategic partnership building among companies, IT leaders, and sector specialists. It is a key forum for understanding how emerging technologies are shaping the future of business competitiveness.
During the session, it was highlighted that technological updating has shifted from being an option to a critical element for growth and adaptability. This need is especially significant for organizations with limited resources, lean structures, or legacy systems. The debate addressed practical, incremental, and cost-effective ways for SMBs and medium-sized companies to navigate this process.
The panel featured top-level speakers who provided practical insights from different areas of the tech ecosystem:
- Rafael Aguado Salomón, Senior Manager Iberia Professional Services at Dell Technologies, emphasized the importance of having infrastructure ready for AI, efficient management of hybrid environments (cloud, on-premise, and edge), and the need to measure the actual return on technology investments. He pointed out that today there are feasible models and solutions tailored for SMBs.
- Alexis Alonso Arévalo, Director of Cyber Guardian (CyberMadrid), analyzed the evolving threat landscape, the impact of human risk, and the importance of cyber resilience as a critical factor to ensure business continuity in an increasingly attack-prone environment.
- José María Abad Azcona, COO of LT2.AI, discussed how to practically implement AI in real use cases, generate short-term ROI, and avoid projects remaining merely pilots without impact. He demonstrated that AI adoption can be gradual and measurable, with tangible results from the start.
The session was moderated by Gema Sanz, Director of Institutional Relations at Madrid Network, who highlighted the need for a comprehensive approach:
“Infrastructure, security, and artificial intelligence do not operate in isolation. Only when these three pillars align does technology become a true driver of growth for medium-sized businesses, and there are realistic paths to achieve this today.”
Thus, the Dell Technologies Forum reaffirmed its status as a leading event in Spain’s tech sector, bringing together business leaders and experts to explore the trends shaping the future of technology and its practical implementation within the business fabric.
Through this participation, Madrid Network strengthens its role as a platform connecting companies, technology, and innovation, fostering high-level reflection spaces and actively collaborating with key technology partners like Dell Technologies to support companies in viable, secure, results-oriented digital transformation processes.
