Synology and Acronis have announced a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing data protection for users. From now on, all devices in the BeeDrive, BeeStation, and BeeStation Plus lines will include a three-year license of Acronis True Image Essentials for one computer*, a combination that enables full backups while keeping data stored locally and under the user’s complete control.
“The Bee Series was created to simplify personal and small business data protection,” said Marcos de Santiago, Business Unit Director for Southern Europe at Synology. “Thanks to the integration with Acronis True Image, users will be able to perform full system backups with just a few clicks.”

Synology BeeDrive and BeeStation devices combine Synology’s renowned storage technology with AI-powered file management tools.
- BeeDrive functions as a high-speed personal backup hub for computers and mobile devices, integrating Deep Search, a powerful local AI search engine capable of locating files by text, description, or location.
- BeeStation, designed as a personal cloud server, allows access, sharing, and collaboration on files from anywhere, as well as automatic photo organization using AI.
The included license of Acronis True Image Essentials adds an extra layer of security by providing comprehensive system protection: backup of the operating system, applications, configurations, and built-in ransomware protection, along with recovery tools used by millions worldwide.
