The technology company Arrow Electronics has announced a new distribution agreement with ExaGrid, a provider specializing in tiered backup storage. The goal is to offer channel partners in Spain advanced data protection solutions that combine performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Thanks to this partnership, Arrow’s distributors and partners will be able to add ExaGrid solutions to their catalogs, designed to address the growing challenges of complex IT environments and rising cyber threats. ExaGrid’s architecture is based on a tiered storage system, featuring a disk cache landing zone for quick backups, a long-term retention repository, and a scalable architecture that allows for easy addition of devices as data volumes grow.
Each device includes its own processor, memory, and network ports, ensuring that the backup window remains constant even with large data volumes. This modular design eliminates the need for costly global upgrades and enables combining equipment of different sizes and generations within the same system, thus protecting the long-term technology investment.
With this agreement, Arrow strengthens its storage offerings by providing its partners with a solution that writes data directly to disk, which accelerates backup and restore processes. Additionally, the tiered approach maximizes storage performance and efficiency at the lowest possible cost.
