Sage has announced the launch of its new AI development solutions at its flagship event, Sage Future for Partners, held from November 4th to 6th in Barcelona. More than 600 partners, ISVs, and ecosystem leaders from EMEA gathered to align with Sage’s strategy.
Sage AI Developer Solutions will drive partner innovation on the Sage platform
Small and medium-sized enterprises are increasingly seeking integrated, flexible, and customizable solutions they can trust, moving away from isolated products. In this context, Sage AI Developer Solutions offers a secure, monitored, and regulated ecosystem that enables trusted partners to develop certified advanced artificial intelligence capabilities and AI Agents designed to enhance automation, integration, and decision-making for Sage customers.

Sage Active, Sage’s flagship cloud suite for Europe based on AI, represents the next phase of this strategy. Designed for scalability and to embed intelligent workflows into every aspect of a client’s business, its open APIs create a scalable ecosystem where developers can craft advanced, customized solutions. As part of Sage AI Developer Solutions, Sage Active will evolve to support agent capabilities and the Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing partners to build vertical AI Agents and advanced automations as these features are rolled out. By unifying budgeting, billing, accounting, payroll, and HR into a single native cloud suite, it provides partners with a modern go-to-market engine that helps SMEs adopt new capabilities with confidence.
To accelerate development and enable the global scalability of Sage AI Developer Solutions, Sage is initially collaborating with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to build agents alongside selected partners. This capability will soon expand to allow partners to build agents in additional environments, leveraging Sage’s platform and documentation for a seamless experience through Sage Copilot.
Using Amazon Bedrock, Sage and its partners gain access to advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) that can securely connect to Sage’s MCP and REST APIs. The inclusion of Amazon Bedrock AgentCore—a platform for building, deploying, and operating agents securely at scale using any framework and model—facilitates the development of Sage-certified AI Agents, ready for production and deployable across multiple Sage clients via Sage Copilot.
This collaboration ensures that every AI extension developed through the program benefits from AWS’s reliable, scalable, and resilient infrastructure while maintaining Sage’s commitment to trust, security, and compliance. This approach allows developers to innovate faster by deploying and marketing customized AI agents and workflow automations with human intervention controls, ensuring solutions are high-performance and responsible.
New Partner Portal to accelerate growth and unlock new business opportunities
Built to streamline the partner experience, the new Partner Portal provides a unified environment to simplify integration, licensing, provisioning, and customer support. This marks a significant advance for Sage’s partner ecosystem, offering partners their first opportunity to deliver Sage Active and expand new growth and revenue channels.
From faster onboarding and provisioning to real-time insights into customer subscriptions and costs, every workflow is designed to help partners deliver value more quickly and see clear results. With tools for customer management, billing, and tasks—all in one place—partners can reduce administrative overhead and focus on innovation and customer success.
Additionally, for the first time, Sage partners will be able to sell Sage Active, the next-generation cloud solution with integrated AI for Sage SMEs. From optimizing sales processes and automating purchase invoice entries to tracking cash flow and key metrics, Sage Active enables clients to monitor transactions with customers and suppliers in real-time.
