A construction worker remains hospitalized in serious condition after suffering an accident on Monday at the industrial complex that TSMC is building in northern Phoenix. The incident occurred around 1:30 PM when emergency crews from the Phoenix Fire Department responded to a distress call from the site.
The worker, whose identity has not been revealed, was immediately attended to on-site by emergency services, who confirmed he sustained significant “bone fractures.” He was then rushed to a nearby hospital. According to TSMC’s official statement, the worker “was treated at the incident site and quickly transported to the hospital for further medical care. We wish him a full and speedy recovery.”
The Taiwanese company, a global leader in advanced chip manufacturing, also emphasized its commitment to safety:
“The safety and well-being of everyone working at our facilities is our top priority. We are in contact with our contractors and are reviewing what occurred internally.”
