TelcoBrain and Lyntia Drive Techno-Economic Intelligence in AI-Based Network Planning and Strategic Evolution

Lyntia Networks S.A., a neutral telecommunications infrastructure operator with a presence in the Iberian Peninsula, Europe, and North America, has announced, along with TelcoBrain Technologies Inc., the successful completion of a collaborative proof of concept (PoC) focused on next-generation network planning and analysis.

This strategic initiative has allowed both companies to explore new ways to manage the growing complexity of network infrastructures, leveraging advanced artificial intelligence capabilities developed by TelcoBrain. The primary goal has been to evaluate different technological options in the context of fiber optic network (FTTx) expansion, the increase in workloads linked to artificial intelligence, and the accelerated growth of hyperscale data centers.

This PoC represents the first step in collaboration and partnership between Lyntia and TelcoBrain, producing specific and actionable intelligence in a live operator context. Key outcomes include:

  • Modeling and scenario analysis: Lyntia has explored multiple future evolution scenarios for its growing traffic regions using the TelcoBrain platform. By varying demand forecasts, network architectures, and combinations of vendor equipment, the analysis identified configurations that optimize the total cost of ownership (TCO).

  • Reliability and sustainability: The assessment revealed opportunities to enhance network reliability through the selective deployment of next-generation technologies in high-demand areas, while conserving existing infrastructure where feasible. To support Lyntia’s sustainability and ESG commitments, detailed data on current consumption and energy use, as well as CO₂ emissions were obtained.

  • Accelerated reduction of Mean Time to Insight (MTTI): Lyntia teams, from planners to architects and executives, were enabled to quickly access role-specific information, facilitating more agile and informed decision-making. Driven by TelcoBrain’s AI, the platform incorporated an interactive assistant based on language models (LLM), trained with Lyntia’s network data and TelcoBrain’s core modeling engine. This has allowed for a unified 360° view of technological outcomes, economic factors, and strategic actions across the organization.

"This collaboration has significantly strengthened our ability to plan and adapt to the growing demand for network services," stated Eduardo Duato, CTIO of Lyntia. “The insights gained have been specific, timely, and impactful, allowing us to select the best evolution options for network expansion and modernization. TelcoBrain’s technology provides immediate, actionable intelligence through automated and unbiased perspectives, enabling us to deliver highly reliable and cost-effective connectivity for our customers.”

Omar Al-Anni, founder and CEO of TelcoBrain Technologies Inc., stated: “This partnership with Lyntia showcases our platform’s ability to deliver deep, actionable insights across multiple vendors and technologies. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, we allow communication service providers like Lyntia to configure their network evolution based on data and the relationship between cost, performance, and sustainability while ensuring maximum reliability. This represents a significant shift in how telecommunications operators plan, justify, and evolve their networks.”

TelcoBrain’s platform provides network planning and strategy teams with insights on technology planning and evolution decisions across a wide range of vendor equipment. By eliminating guesswork and increasing transparency, the solution enables quicker, smarter, and more accurate network investment decisions. Its techno-economic and vendor-neutral approach also aligns internal stakeholders and promotes greater accountability among equipment providers. TelcoBrain’s mission is to help CSPs save approximately $500 billion in network CAPEX over the next five years.
