Synology Strengthens Its Ecosystem with Advanced Storage, Data Protection, and Private Cloud Solutions at Computex 2025

The company introduces new business platforms, productivity tools, and a smart home cloud, reinforcing its commitment to security, performance, and privacy.

Synology showcased its technological prowess at Computex 2025 with a comprehensive display of solutions focused on enterprise storage, data protection, video surveillance, collaborative productivity, and personal cloud. At an event held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, the company confirmed its commitment to a robust, secure ecosystem ready to tackle today’s digital environment challenges.

“At Synology, our goal has always been to build a data management ecosystem that our clients can trust,” stated Philip Wong, president and CEO of Synology. “We design our solutions not just for unparalleled ease of use, but also for industry-leading security, reliability, and data privacy.”

PAS7700: Extreme performance for critical workloads

One of the most notable new offerings is the Synology PAS7700, an all-flash NVMe system with active-active architecture and dual controllers, designed for mission-critical workloads that cannot afford downtime. Capable of reaching up to 2 million IOPS with sub-millisecond latency, it promises to triple the performance of current models, all while incorporating integrated replication capabilities under the 3-2-1-1 strategy.

DP7200 and ActiveProtect: Unified and resilient protection

The new DP7200 expands the ActiveProtect family and is designed to function as a standalone backup server or as a centralized node in CMS architectures. Its capabilities include network isolation, protection against modifications and deletions, ensuring the availability of recoverable data even in the face of ransomware attacks. It joins well-known solutions like the DP320.

C2 Surveillance: Scalable cloud video surveillance

In the security realm, Synology has unveiled C2 Surveillance, a cloud-based video management platform aimed at decentralized deployments without requiring a physical NVR. With continuous edge recording and failover switching, this solution ensures uninterrupted monitoring across multiple locations.

ChatPlus and Synology Meet: Secure and private collaboration

Productivity also took center stage with ChatPlus and Synology Meet, new communication tools integrated into the brand’s private infrastructure. ChatPlus allows for secure team management with granular permissions, while Meet offers self-managed business video conferencing, without relying on external services.

BeeStation Plus: Intelligent and expandable personal cloud

Designed for home users, creatives, and professionals, BeeStation Plus offers 8 TB of private storage, integration with iCloud Photos and Plex, as well as snapshot-based recovery and remote backups via BeeProtect. Additionally, when paired with the Synology CC400W camera, it enables advanced home surveillance with intelligent alerts for human presence, pets, or suspicious sounds.

With this suite of launches, Synology once again demonstrates its cross-cutting innovation capabilities, catering to both large corporations and smart homes. Its focus on data ownership, security against threats, and intuitive usability consolidates its position as a benchmark in storage and information management solutions.
