Deloitte has announced the expansion of its Silicon to Service (S2S) platform, an artificial intelligence solution specifically designed for government agencies and regulated sectors. Powered by the accelerated infrastructure of Dell Technologies and NVIDIA, and hosted in Equinix data centers, this platform offers public administrations a fast, secure, and scalable way to prototype, deploy, and scale AI solutions tailored to their critical missions.
Commercial AI Serving the Public
Silicon to Service provides government agencies access to enterprise-level AI technologies with the flexibility to operate in their own data centers, hosting providers, or in the cloud, all with a focus on security, customization, and reliable performance.
“S2S reduces the time between the initial AI concept and its real impact on agency missions, while optimizing both costs and security,” explained Ed Van Buren, partner at Deloitte Consulting LLP.
The platform is designed to cover a wide range of use cases: from AI agents that enhance staff productivity to systems for threat analysis, risk management, computer vision, and real-time analysis of large data volumes.
High-Performance Infrastructure: Dell + NVIDIA
At the core of the solution are the Dell PowerEdge XE9680 servers, combined with Dell PowerScale storage and the accelerated computing power of NVIDIA, including the new NVIDIA Blackwell platform, designed for demanding AI workloads.
“The Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA is the backbone of S2S. It provides scalable computing capacity and services that enable governments to adopt AI securely and efficiently,” stated Paul Perez, Chief Technology Fellow at Dell Technologies.
From multi-year planning to complex operational tasks, S2S serves as an accelerator for governments looking to integrate AI within their systems, without compromising data sovereignty or the integrity of their infrastructures.
Secure and Global Hosting by Equinix
The deployment of Silicon to Service occurs in Equinix data centers, which provide the physical space, power, cooling, and connectivity needed to run the most demanding workloads in highly regulated environments.
“Our global network of interconnected data centers provides the reliability and security necessary for the most critical AI applications,” noted Kevin Thames, Vice President of Channel for the Americas at Equinix.
A Strategic Path for AI in Regulated Environments
For sectors such as defense, public health, justice, infrastructure, or electronic administration, S2S represents a turnkey solution that combines advanced infrastructure, regulatory compliance, and agile deployment tools.
“From conversational agents to strategic planning, AI is multiplying the efficiency of governments and regulated industries. With S2S, those capabilities are within reach,” emphasized Anne Hecht, Senior Director of Enterprise AI at NVIDIA.
