Nidec Strengthens Its Presence in Taiwan with a New AI Server Operations Center

The Japanese company is expanding its infrastructure in the heart of Taipei to accelerate the development and delivery of advanced thermal solutions for the smart server sector.

Nidec Corporation (TSE: 6594; OTC US: NJDCY), a global leader in electric motor solutions and cooling technologies, has announced the relocation and expansion of its office in Taiwan. The new headquarters, located just five minutes’ walk from Taipei Main Station, aims to strengthen its sales system and the development of thermal solutions at a time of strong growth in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) server market.

A strategic bet on speed and customer proximity

In response to the rapid product development in Taiwan, a hub for major ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) producers, Nidec is coming forward with a multifunctional space that integrates:

  • A development and demonstration area to reduce sample delivery times.
  • Assembly and evaluation equipment that allows for prototyping and real-time solution testing.
  • An experimental laboratory equipped to validate products in the presence of clients.

Focused on high-performance thermal solutions

The new center features an exhibition area where customers can interact directly with Nidec’s latest thermal solutions, such as cooled direct liquid cooling (CDU) systems and other products designed to meet the stringent requirements of data centers and AI servers.

Additionally, a modern meeting and visiting area has been established to facilitate business negotiations and foster technical collaboration in a comfortable and professional environment.
