Flexential, a leading provider of secure and flexible data center solutions, has reached a strategic agreement with DigitalOcean to execute a high-density deployment at its Atlanta-Douglasville 1 data center. This collaboration will enable DigitalOcean to significantly expand its capacity to offer GPU Droplets, with a particular focus on meeting the growing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) workloads.
Phased Deployment to Meet New AI/ML Demands
The expansion will be carried out in phases across two interconnected data halls, powered by NVIDIA H200 GPUs and AMD Instinct accelerators. This advanced infrastructure is designed to provide scalable computing power on demand, making it ideal for training and inference processes for AI/ML models, deep learning, high-performance computing (HPC), data analytics, and graphic and video rendering tasks.

The Atlanta-Douglasville 1 data center meets DigitalOcean’s standards for power density, service level agreements (SLAs), and deployment timelines. Additionally, it features stringent security measures, including 24/7 surveillance, two-factor authentication access, biometric scanners, and monitored security cameras, thus enhancing the protection of critical environments.
