Ingram Micro has announced a new Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) during the AWS re:Invent 2024 event. This multi-year alliance aims to enhance the capabilities of IT channel partners through the Ingram Micro Xvantage™ platform. The agreement strengthens the successful global collaboration between both companies and expands services to facilitate partner growth in the cloud.

Main Focus Areas

  1. Expansion of Ingram Micro’s Professional Services
    Ingram Micro extends its migration expertise with AWS globally, enhancing its advisory and optimization services. These services include the AWS Well-Architected framework, which enables partners to optimize AWS environments and improve operational efficiency. Additionally, the agreement incorporates advanced technologies such as generative artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and architecture through AWS services like Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Redshift, and AWS Glue. These tools allow for the development of AI models, optimization of ETL processes, and improvement of data management.
  2. Facilitation of Private Offers on AWS Marketplace
    The new agreement allows ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) and channel partners to launch Channel Private Offers (CPPO) through AWS Marketplace and the Xvantage platform. Partners can list their own services and solutions in specific sectors such as retail, manufacturing, education, healthcare, finance, and the public sector. This initiative accelerates the go-to-market for customized technology solutions and enhances collaboration between providers and partners.
