Dell introduced updates to its Integrated Rack Scalable Systems (IRSS) program, which offers ready-to-use rack systems with smart cooling and space-efficient design. Notable additions include the Dell PowerEdge XE9685L and PowerEdge XE7740 servers, optimized for demanding tasks such as machine learning, high-performance computing (HPC), and large-scale data analytics.

  • Dell PowerEdge XE9685L: This 4U liquid-cooled server is equipped with 5th Generation AMD EPYC™ CPUs and NVIDIA HGX H200 or B200 platforms. It offers industry-leading GPU density, allowing for up to 96 NVIDIA GPUs per rack, making it ideal for high-density AI and HPC workloads.
  • Dell PowerEdge XE7740: This 4U air-cooled server utilizes Intel Xeon® CPUs and can be configured with up to 16 accelerators for specific tasks such as fine-tuning and inference of generative AI models.

Dell also announced that its upcoming server, based on the NVIDIA GB200 Grace Blackwell NVL4 Superchip, will manage up to 144 GPUs per rack, catering to the demands of massive AI and HPC workloads.

Dell Data Lakehouse: Modern Data Management for AI

The Dell Data Lakehouse platform received significant enhancements, including the integration of Apache Spark, which enables processing of distributed data at scale. This AI-optimized architecture facilitates the management, analysis, and extraction of information from large data volumes, accelerating the acquisition of actionable results.
