DXC Technology opens Center of Excellence in Zaragoza to drive adoption of AI and cloud

DXC Technology, a global provider of leading technology services in the Fortune 500, has announced the opening of a new Center of Excellence in Zaragoza, Spain. This center aims to help major Spanish organizations harness the full potential of artificial intelligence (AI), manage their most critical workloads, infrastructures, and operations in the cloud, and keep data secure regardless of its location.

Expansion and Commitment to Spain

The new facility expands DXC’s existing operations in the country. Engineers and technology experts working in Zaragoza will use their deep industry knowledge and experience to support the largest organizations in Spain’s public and private sectors.

The Center of Excellence will showcase the latest cloud technologies enhanced by DXC engineers, integrating artificial intelligence into platforms supporting applications and solutions to help clients modernize their operations, products, and services.

Job Creation and Collaboration with AWS

This initiative builds on DXC’s commitment to its clients in Spain, following the opening of a generative artificial intelligence Center of Excellence in Santiago de Compostela in 2023. The company aims to create hundreds of jobs in Zaragoza over the next five years, in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Focus on E-commerce and Logistics

The teams working at the new Center will also focus on enhancing global e-commerce strategies. This will enable clients to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs through inventory tracking automation and stock selection optimization supported by AI-driven warehouse and logistics management.
