Arrow launches Micro-SOC a scalable managed service

Arrow Electronics, a global technology provider, has introduced its new managed service, Arrow Micro-SOC (Security Operations Center), designed to offer proactive and effective monitoring of Microsoft environments, including Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and other critical sources. This innovative service aims to provide a comprehensive security solution with a low-cost subscription model, aimed at alerting to attacks and providing valuable information through reports, recommendations, and a security score.

Arrow Micro-SOC combines access to Arrow’s specialized security teams with a low-touch SOC that uses advanced threat detection and response capabilities provided by Microsoft. This approach allows organizations to obtain robust protection without the need to build and maintain an expensive and complex internal security operations center.

Mark Barcham, Head of Sales and Marketing for EMEA Services at Arrow’s Enterprise Computing Solutions division, highlighted the increasing complexity of the security landscape. “Attacks are becoming more sophisticated and persistent, and no company is exempt from risk. Arrow Micro-SOC helps our channel partners address these challenges by providing access to security experts and reducing the need to develop internal SOC capabilities,” explained Barcham.

The service allows customers to adjust the level of protection as their needs evolve. Additionally, customers can rely on dedicated SOC staff for everything from installation and configuration to continuous monitoring and analysis. This flexibility and scalability make Arrow Micro-SOC an attractive option for organizations seeking an efficient and adaptable security solution.

The launch of Arrow Micro-SOC reflects Arrow Electronics’ commitment to protecting critical environments and assets, leveraging its expertise and knowledge to provide an effective extension of channel partners’ internal teams. The integration of the latest Microsoft security technologies ensures that customers are well-protected against emerging and constantly evolving threats.
