OpenNebula Systems has solidified its position as a “pioneer” in Europe in the development of open source technological solutions for cloud infrastructure management, after taking the lead in the new ‘Important Common European Interest Project on Next Generation Cloud Infrastructures and Services’ (IPCEI-CIS). This innovative initiative has been approved by the European Commission and has a joint state aid of up to 1.2 billion euros. It also includes the initial participation of twelve member states that will provide substantial public funding.
