The Evolutio Group has announced the appointment of Angel Mateos Aguado as the new CEO of the company in Portugal, a position he will hold alongside his role as CEO at Warpcom, a technology integrator.
Angel Mateos Aguado has over 30 years of experience in the information technology and telecommunications sector, having worked for renowned companies such as Eastman Kodak Company and BT Global Services. At the latter, he held various positions in Marketing, Business Strategy and Planning, as well as in international M&A. During his time at BT Global Services, he also served as Chairman of the Investment Council and Vice President of the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain.
Since 2020, Mateos Aguado has held various positions within the Evolutio Group, most recently serving as Corporate Director of Strategy, M&A and International Relations. In this role, he has coordinated the group’s relationships with its main shareholder, Portobello Capital.
In his new role, Angel Mateos Aguado will lead Evolutio Group operations in Portugal with the aim of driving the company’s growth in this strategic market. “Our goal is to continue being a reference in the Portuguese market, preserving the quality of the services we provide and the solutions we develop and implement. With this in mind, we will achieve the growth we set out for. We have the same ambition to grow in the Portuguese market, providing the best possible service to our clients and remaining vigilant for inorganic growth opportunities. In Portugal, Warpcom is a strategic asset for the Evolutio Group,” Aguado commented.
