Fujitsu Spain leads the first international quantum technology macro event in Santiago de Compostela.

Fujitsu Spain, in collaboration with the Supercomputing Center of Galicia (Cesga) and the Xunta de Galicia, is pleased to announce the “International Quantum Business Conference.” This unprecedented event will take place on October 9 and 10, 2024 in Santiago de Compostela, marking a milestone in the global quantum technology industry.

The conference will bring together prominent leaders and experts in the field of quantum technology. The event, designed to promote dialogue and collaboration between academics, industry, and government institutions, will focus on the challenges and opportunities that quantum technology offers to the business and research world.

With a carefully planned agenda that includes a scientific track focused on the latest advances in quantum research, a business track more centered on use cases for various industries such as Fintech, logistics, etc., as well as panel discussions and networking sessions.

The International Quantum Business Conference aims to increase visibility of the Galician and Spanish ecosystem and attract relevant entities in quantum computing internationally, hand in hand with Cesga and Fujitsu, a leading company in quantum technologies.

The expectation is to gather more than 200 participants in a face-to-face meeting that will be conducted in English and Spanish. This event not only aims to demonstrate the viability of quantum technology for the industry but also to facilitate networking among the different actors in the innovation and research ecosystem of Galicia and the world.
